1. Introduction

Subathon Assistant ("we", "our", or "the Service") respects your privacy. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using the Service, you agree to this policy.

2. Data we collect

• Account data: When you sign in with Twitch, we receive your Twitch user ID, username, profile image, and (if provided by Twitch) email. We use this to identify you and provide the Service.
• Usage data: Data you create while using the Service, such as timer settings, goals, run history, widget and bot settings, and team/permission choices. This is stored to provide and persist your subathon features.
• Technical data: Logs (e.g. IP, request paths, errors) and session/cookie data for authentication and security. We do not sell this data.

3. How we use your data

We use the data above to operate the Service (e.g. run the timer, store goals, sync with Twitch), to improve the product, to respond to support requests, and to comply with law. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Storage and third parties

Data is stored using Supabase (database and auth). Twitch is used for sign-in and (if you use the bot) for chat and events. These providers have their own privacy and security practices. We may use other service providers (e.g. hosting) that process data on our behalf under agreements that protect your data.

5. Retention

We retain account and usage data for as long as your account exists and as needed to operate the Service and comply with legal obligations. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us (see Contact below).

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights or ask questions, contact us at support@subathon-assistant.dev or use our Contact page.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data (e.g. HTTPS, secure auth, access controls). No system is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
